Update regarding School Opening:

Here is the latest update on the USD 300 reopening plan. This could still change as we are in a very fluid environment, but this is how we are planning to do things.

1. We will be having students return to school in August.
2. Enrollment will still take place on Tuesday, July 28 at SCEMS from 10AM-6PM, and at SCHS on Wednesday, July 29 from 10AM-6PM.
3. Per Governor Kelly's Executive Order 20-59, all students and staff are required to wear a mask and/or face shield. These will not be provided by the school, but we will have a limited number on hand in case a student needs one.
4. Student supplies will not be shared among students.
5. Students will report to school no earlier than 15 minutes before school begins and will report directly to the designated area or classrooms.
6. All students and staff will have their temperature taken upon entry to the building. Anyone with a temperature above 100.3 will be denied entry and sent home for the day.
7. Breakfast may be taken to the classrooms. Lunch should be able to be served in the cafeteria with some changes in procedures.
8. Multiple hand washing/sanitizing times will be available throughout the day.
9. Recesses will not be affected other than students will be in their grade group.
10. Students will stay in their grade level group as much as possible.

The final plan will have 3 phases. Phase 1 is in-person instruction, Phase 2 is hybrid with online and in-person. Phase 3 is online instruction. Movement between the phases will be determined with assistance from the Comanche County Health Authorities.
