    SCHS Football Camp a Success!
    fb camp

The 2021 South Central High School football team held their annual team camp June 25th, 26th and 27th.  Camp was held at South Central High School, and players and coaches moved into the high school for the camp's duration. 16 athletes participated this year.  This year the focus was more of a learning atmosphere, as over half of the participants are new to the high school football program. Each morning and evening was set aside for practice, and in between was for team bonding. The players and coaches watched and broke down film of last year's 3 losses.  Also, time was set aside for goal writing. Each player came up with an individual goal for the 2021 season and then as a team they set a Team Goal. Coach Mike Jenner was our special guest this year. Coach Jenner recently retired from coaching at Logan-Palco High School. Overall he had coached 29 years of high school football. The coaches are very excited about this year's team, and rolled out some new offensive and defensive sets. We  only have 16 players out so far, but we return some very talented athletes, and to be successful it's imperative we stay healthy.  We look forward to another successful year of T-Wolf football!!!
