A Message from the Principal

It’s that time of year again! While I always enjoy summer, there’s something special about the excitement and energy of a new school year. It seems like each summer flies by a little faster, but we spend that time evaluating what’s working, gathering feedback, and researching ways to grow and improve. At South Central, we’re committed to challenging our students to reach their highest potential in every aspect of their education. Last year’s success set the bar high, but we believe we have a strong plan in place to make this school year even better. We’re also excited to welcome several new faces to the Timberwolf family: ● Ashley Boe joins us as our new band and vocal teacher, coming from Dodge City Public Schools. South Central has a proud music tradition, and we’re confident Ms. Boe will carry that legacy forward. ● Marva Mosshart will be our new high school cook. She brings great energy and will be a wonderful addition to our kitchen staff. ● In athletics, Cindy Snyder steps in as our new head girls basketball coach, and Dalton Morehead takes over as head golf coach. Both have served as assistants in their respective sports and are more than ready to lead our student-athletes.

Thank you once again for your ongoing support of our school. I truly believe we are part of a school and community that is second to none. I’m incredibly excited about what lies ahead for South Central Schools. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out. Let’s make this our best school year yet!
