About

As the first day of school approaches, excitement is building throughout the halls of South Central Elementary and Middle School. Staff and teachers are hard at work preparing classrooms, finalizing lesson plans, and gearing up to welcome students back for what promises to be a fantastic year.

One of the most anticipated additions to the team is Miss Ashley Boe, who will be joining as the new 5th–8th grade band teacher. Her arrival brings a wave of enthusiasm, and students and staff alike are looking forward to hearing the sound of music once again echo through the hallways.

The middle school football program is also gaining new leadership with Joey McCleary stepping in as head coach. He will be joined by assistant coach Jonnie Robles. With their combined energy and passion, the football team is sure to have an exciting and dynamic season.

For students in grades K–5, a brand-new reading curriculum has been introduced. Teachers are eager to dive in and make the most of this fresh approach to literacy, with high hopes for strong academic growth and engagement.

We can’t wait to see all of our students and families back. It’s going to be a great year filled with learning, growth, and new opportunities

Here’s to a fresh start and a school year full of promise!
