    8th Grade Promotion

    8th Graders got to celebrate with family and friends at South Central Middle School. Mr. Jellison promoted 8th graders to the high school. The class of 2028 then celebrated at their last middle school dance.

    Congratulations Graduates

    South Central Celebrated 19 Graduates May 18. We had 3 Valedictorians Creed Leeper, Nicholas Erickson and Cambree Stapleton. We also had two Salutatorians Emily Hardy and Heath Howell. Congratulations Seniors and we wish you luck as you go on with your future outside of South Central!

    Two South Central Golf Team members qualified to compete at State on Monday May 20 and 21 in Hesston, KS. Congratulations to Senior Gavin Uhl and Freshman Easton Huck!

    State Track Qualifiers

    Congratulations to the SCHS Track Team! Many State Qualifiers today along with new school records!

    Gracie York, Cambree Stapleton, Logann Patterson, Isabel Hackney. Girls 4x400-1st place. New School Record 4:06.49!

    Coda Lindsay, Isaiah Jellison, Hayden Herzer, Brodie Boatman. Men’s 4x100- 3rd Place

    Cambree Stapleton, Breckyn Snyder, Lexi Fleming, Gracie York. Women’s 4x800- 3rd Place

    Logann Patterson. 300 Hurdles- 1st Place!

    Isabel Hackney-3rd Place, Gracie York-4th Place, 400 m Dash!

    Logann Patterson-3rd Place, Long Jump!

    Coda Lindsay. 1st Place- Long Jump!

    Lexi Fleming. 3rd Place-Pole Vault and New School Record 9’6”!

    All athletes will compete next Friday and Saturday May 24-25 at the State Meet! Let’s Go Timberwolves!!

    Forensics Places 4th as a Team at State. They also had 3 other State Champs and 3 other medalists! Way to go South Central Forensics!

Our schools challenge students with a highly relevant curriculum and provide support for their endeavors and dreams within a safe and caring learning environment. We love what we do and are proud of our role in preparing young people for their future.
